The new hottest wedding look is the velvet tuxedo coat, and this is catching on like absolute wildfire!

Inspired by Baroque royalty, velvet is a fabric that accentuates status and class to the highest degree, and is a perfect choice for a wedding jacket!

Velvets dye so well as they are actually cotton fabrics!

Cotton is piled onto a base fabric, which is then sheared or sanded, similar to how flannel is made, in order to give that beautiful feel and shine to this fabric. These jackets can be adorned with silk, satin, and grosgrain to offer a very dressy look, or simply keep it classy and wear it straight up as a blazer!

Suit or tuxedo? This is a question our team gets asked a LOT, especially lately at the various expos where we have been exhibiting.

The simple answer? It all depends on your theme!

This is determined by whether or not you want to have a – classy – stand-up wedding, or a fun, modern and chic wedding. Another factor is if your fiancé wants to wear the garments again after the wedding or not.

The Tuxedo: A Touch Of Class

The tuxedo is a classic, beautiful, and timeless piece, which has been popular for several chapters of history, and doesn’t seem to leaving its perch any time soon.

A tuxedo is a garment that is adorned with regal trimmings, such as embroideries, grosgrains, prints, and most commonly, silk satin! This trimming is inspired by fashions stemming from the elegant point in history, the Baroque Age. The 17th and 18th centuries were a major turning point in fashion, and used a variety of trims to dress themselves with and appear regal, as clothing is what set apart an individual’s social status.

This is what makes the Tuxedo a perfect piece for a classy, elegant wedding!

A suit, quite simply, is the ultimate piece to be owned by a man.
